Choose Rugged (RS) servers if you need computing designed to work in a variety of extreme environments: extreme shock/vibe, extreme temperature ranges, sand/dust, salt/fog. All RS servers are designed to meet and exceed MIL-STDs 167-1, 461E/F, 810F, and MIL-S-901-D.
Choose Industrial (CS) servers, or industrial/commercial servers if you need computing in challenging industrial environments. CS servers are compact, powerful and feature rugged steel chassis construction and state of the art cooling features which make them perfect for extreme or industrial applications.

Note about RS Servers:
Crystal Group offers three motherboards in their Rugged Server (RS) products. The characteristic features of the most common motherboard are listed in this table: a dual CPU board that supports the LGA771 Quad Core Xeon CPUs with 1066/1333MHz FSB. This board has an excellent on-board video function that features the ATI 16MB ES1000 graphics controller chip. The board has 6 DIMM slots for up to 24 GB ECC FB DIMMs.
Our second offering contains on-board audio instead of video, has 4 rear USB ports, 2 serial ports, and supports 24GB RAM. The third is a Dual VGA 1366 "Nehalem" based solution that has 1PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x8, and 2 PCI. The Nehalem solution supports 48GB of memory.
