Principle Engineer – Power Supply Developer

Crystal Group manufactures rugged deployable computational platforms for industrial and military use. Our engineers serve as a technical resource, for our customers and our sales team. They are involved in all phases of product sales and installation. This position architects leading edge power solutions to solve problems for our customers and the industry. The position requires experience in power supply and filter design to meet military spec requirements.  Having experience in meeting MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 requirements is preferred.

Requires: BSEE or BSCprE degree from a from a four year accredited university.  MS is preferred. Minimum of four years experience in the industry.

Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and electronics is required. Candidate should have knowledge of circuit board layout, and experience in PCB layout and design of switching power supplies.  Design requirements will be aligned with Avionics types of power supply development; experience in this industry is a major plus.  Familiarity with ATX12V power supply sequencing specifications also a plus.
