Crystal Rugged Servers
Crystal Group offers three motherboards in their Rugged Server (RS) products. The characteristic features of the most common motherboard are listed in this table. All boards are based on a CPU architecture that supports the Intel® 5500/5600 Series Processors, the first dual-processing platform that supports the Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) Technology, providing the next generation point-to-point system interface to replace the current Front Side Bus. With the Intel 5500/5600 Series Processor built in, the motherboard substantially enhances system performance with increased bandwidth and unprecedented scalability optimized for high-end HCP/Cluster systems and intensive applications.

Crystal Rugged Displays
Check out Crystal Group's rugged rackmount SXGA and WXGA monitors that feature impact resistant, laminated stack with scratch resistant, low reflectance front cover glass. These low specular reflectance and high brightness displays yield excellent high ambient contrast, come in a variety of form factors and sizes. Models are available with HD-15 and DVI interfaces.

Crystal Rugged Networking
Rugged functionality. Crystal ruggedized switches, firewalls, and routers are designed to give users increased functionality in rugged environments.
These rugged networking appliances are available in a 19" rack or transit case EIA form factor, are light weight at 9 - 48 lbs (4.8 - 21.77 kg) and short depth at 12.25"- 20". These rugged networking appliances feature all aluminum construction using 6061T-651 strain hardened structural aircraft aluminum, 0.187 to 0.375" thick cross-sections and MIL-C-5541E Class 3 Chem Film Protection. Ruggedization attributes include shock and vibe survivability through multiple attachment points on circuit boards to stabilize PWB, all fasteners and connectors are retained with locking mechanisms and all cables are dressed and secured to prevent chafing. Crystal ruggedized switches, firewalls, and routers are designed for extended temperature ranges: -15oC to +55oC; offer basic routing protocols: RIPv1, RIPv2, RIPng, and Static along with advanced routing protocols: OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, IS-ISv4, BGPv4. They support IPv6 routing, are compatible with Cisco® and 3Com Technology -- allowing multiple units to be integrated into a single logical unit addressable with a single IP address, and offer plug and play functionality. Management is performed by Cisco® or 3Com compatible software.

Crystal is offering customers with low tolerance for data loss a compelling way to create large rugged storage arrays while taking advantage of cost and performance benefits of existing drive technology. Newly developed Crystal Rugged Storage Systems offer high-reliability, ruggedness, and military grade data security in multiple form factors, without sacrificing performance or critical data. When paired with a Crystal RS series RAID head unit, these storage systems can be operated in following RAID modes: 50, 60, JBOD or multiple arrays of 1, 1E, 5, 5EE, 6 or 10.
