Crystal Group announces updates to their rugged embedded product line
Hiawatha, IA – Crystal Group Inc, an employee owned small business, designer and manufacturer of rugged, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) custom-designed computers, displays, networking devices, embedded systems, and storage devices announces enhancement and expansion of their Rugged Embedded computing product line.
Crystal Group announced the release of their newest product, the RE0412 carbon fiber chassis, rugged embedded computer last week. To better reflect the capabilities of the other members of the Crystal Group Rugged Embedded computing product line, and position the product line for future growth, the following products names have been updated: RE0212 (formerly ACM1), RE0102 (formerly TCM1) and RE0102M (formerly TCM2). The nomenclature change better reflects the capabilities of the products, referencing their rugged embedded use, form factor, number of slots, number of drives, and any modifying factors to the chassis.
Crystal Rugged Embedded computers offer ultra-compact, lightweight, rugged design, superior cooling and EMI performance. They are built to survive extreme shock and vibration -- optimized for vehicular or UAV applications requiring powerful processing. Crystal Rugged Embedded computersare designed and tested to meet and exceed MIL-STDs 810F/G, 461E/F, 704, and 1275. High performance Intel processors, an array of drive options, multiple expansion options, and DC power supplies are offered across the Crystal Rugged Embedded computing line.
Each Crystal product comes with a standard three-year warranty. On-site, next day and extended warranties are available. Configuration Management is also available upon request.
