Matt joined Crystal Group in 2020 to lead the planning, implementation and effectiveness of Crystal Group’s quality management system.

Prior to joining Crystal Group, he spent 17 years in quality leadership roles across several industries, including medical devices, nuclear, commercial appliances, oil and gas, and aerospace and defense. He also spent five years previously with Crystal Group establishing the baseline for the AS9100 quality management system we use today. In addition to Matt’s quality leadership roles, he is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he obtained a commission and led various divisions onboard the USS Henry M. Jackson.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. He also holds several American Society for Quality certifications, including Certified Manager of Quality/Operational Excellence, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
