Protecting the warfighter when they’re serving is just one aspect of support that is needed for those who made the selfless decision to join the Armed Forces. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, I know the sacrifices I made for my country and programs like the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight are a great way to honor my decision to serve.

Next week, the Eastern Honor Flight will fly 90 Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the monuments and memorials that were built in their honor. This flight is provided at no cost to the Veterans and is sponsored by local businesses and organized by volunteers. It is inspiring to see so many community members stepping up to provide access to this special event for as many Veterans as possible.

As an employee-owner at Crystal Group, I am proud that we support this Honor Flight with a sponsorship. As an organization, we take so much pride in protecting the warfighter when they are actively serving, but this support proves that we truly care about those individuals beyond just mission success.

I’m proud to support this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for such deserving Veterans. To learn more about the Eastern Honor Flight, watch the below video or visit their website.
