When we ship out products to our customers, we rarely get to see exactly how it’s being used, especially with the confidentiality that comes with military applications. So, when we had the unique opportunity to witness our products being used in an autonomous vehicle, it was a vivid reminder of the importance of producing high-quality, reliable equipment.
During one of VSI Labs cross-country tests, our autonomous computers drove home to us so that we were able to see first-hand all our hard work in action.
For this application, the AVC0161 was used for processing information from the systems and sensors to monitor lane traffic and any movement in the road. The customer designed and implemented a custom sensor package to read road data and talk to the computer.
The opportunity to hear how our computers are being used to improve autonomous driving capabilities was fulfilling for our team and we are proud to be a part of the innovators paving the way for advancements in the industry.
